Safaricom has announced a planned M-Pesa service disruption to take place on the night of July 2nd, 2020. The disruption is scheduled to start at 11:59 PM and last until 1:00 AM on July 3rd, 2020, as part of routine maintenance of their systems.
According to Safaricom, all M-Pesa services, including airtime purchase, will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.
"In this regard, our M-Pesa services shall be undergoing planned maintenance tonight, starting from 2359 hours to 0500 hours. During the maintenance, all M-PESA services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable," the company stated.
Notably, Safaricom has maintained the timing for the scheduled maintenance hours to minimize inconveniences for its customers.
