On July 2, 2020, Kenya's COVID-19 cases continued to rise, with 268 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 6,951, with 259 Kenyans and 9 foreigners affected.
The youngest patient in the new cases is one year old, while the oldest is 80 years old.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman announced that 20 patients have been discharged from health facilities in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 2,109.
Unfortunately, three more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the total virus deaths in the country to 152.
