On July 2, 2020, Raphael, the 15-year-old son of Zari Hassan and the late Ivan Ssemwanga, made headlines for promoting his YouTube channel through media interviews.
During one such interview, Raphael expressed his admiration for basketball, citing US basketballer Lebron James as a source of motivation.
"I inspired myself and gained love for the sport," Raphael said, highlighting his self-motivation.
When asked about his mother, Raphael praised her social media and real-life management skills, saying, "My mother is smart. The way she handles things on social media and real life, she knows how to handle things."
However, Raphael's description of his younger sister Princess Tiffah was more candid, branding her as a "lovely crazy young girl" who "fights a lot, makes noise, and is bossy."
As the second-born child, Raphael's older brother Pinto Tlale has kept his life private, while the third-born Quincy has a large following on social media.
