On Thursday, Senator Millicent Omanga was spotted at Deputy President William Ruto's residence in Karen, where they were donating items to youth business groups.
As part of her efforts to reaffirm her allegiance to the Deputy President, Senator Omanga joined him in giving business kick-starts to youth groups from Eastlands, alongside Nairobi Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of County Assembly (MCAs), and other leaders.
At the event, Senator Omanga assured the Deputy President of her support in parliament, saying, 'Uncle Willy, hadi huko bunge tuko na wewe.'
Her visit to the Deputy President's residence comes at a time when his camp has suffered a major setback, following the defection of some of its inner circle members to President Uhuru Kenyatta's side.
Senator Omanga and nominated MP David Ole Sankok were among those who were believed to have dumped camp Ruto and pledged their loyalty to President Uhuru.
