On July 1, 2020, Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reached a milestone by scoring his 50th Premier League goal in a 4-0 thrashing of Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium.

The match saw a terrible error from Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul, who attempted to fake a long kick and dribble past Aubameyang but ended up nicking the ball off the keeper's foot and rolling it into the net in the 33rd minute.

Four minutes later, Granit Xhaka scored a brilliant second goal for Arsenal, and though Norwich started the second half brightly, Aubameyang sealed the game with his second goal in the 67th minute.

Cedric Soares came off the bench to score his first goal for Arsenal in the 81st minute, securing a 4-0 win and pushing the London club to seventh place on 47 points. Norwich remained bottom on 21 points, six behind 17th-placed West Ham United with six games left.
