Aman's COVID-19 Warning: Kenyans Urged to Take Precautions ¶
Health Cabinet Secretary Rashid Aman has issued a warning to Kenyans to take precautions against COVID-19 as the number of cases continues to rise.
Speaking on June 1, Aman emphasized the importance of taking early precautions to avoid the chaos that may come later. He noted that the number of cases is increasing rapidly, and it is crucial for people to take responsibility for their health.
Aman's warning comes as Kenya has recorded 307 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 6,673. The country is at risk of a major outbreak if people do not take the necessary measures to protect themselves.
According to Aman, it is everyone's responsibility to fight against the disease. He urged Kenyans, including those in the transport sector, to follow the guidelines provided by the government and to be mindful of the number of passengers they carry.
Aman also expressed his appreciation for a resident who visited his office to report a case of COVID-19. The resident, who lives in Ruaka, had come to report that people in his area were not taking the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
"If we continue with our daily activities without taking early precautions, our efforts may be in vain," Aman said. "We need to understand how to protect ourselves and continue with our daily business."
Aman's warning is a timely reminder for Kenyans to take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is everyone's responsibility to fight against the disease, and it is crucial for people to take responsibility for their health.
