On July 1, 2020, Odibets, a leading betting firm in Kenya, launched a new user-friendly app to celebrate the return of football leagues.
The app, designed to make betting easy for the common mwananchi, features live game streaming, instant notifications, and a KSh 50 bonus for first-time users who place a bet of KSh 30 or above.
Speaking to journalists, Odibets Country Marketing Manager Aggrey Sayi stated that the new app was a way of appreciating punters who have been using their platform.
"We have launched the Odibets app as a reward to our loyal punters who have been with us all through, the new app has various interesting features that have made betting easy for the common mwananchi," said Aggrey Sayi.
The Odibets app also includes features like sharing bet slips, light and dark mode options, and four virtual leagues that will keep punters on their toes.
Early this year, when the coronavirus outbreak rendered the sporting scene dormant, Odibets was one of the first betting firms in the country to venture into virtual betting, which was the talk of town among punters.
Virtual betting is a kind of betting where customers can place bets on computer-generated games that function like real matches with actual teams and players.
