It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of James Njuguna Kimani, affectionately known as Giant, who left this world on Sunday, June 28th, 2020, in a tragic road accident in Nairobi, Kenya.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Wanjiku Njuguna, and their children, Ben Gichuhi and Peter Kimani.

James was a beloved brother to Irene Wanjiru Toomer, Liz Muthemba, and the late Jane Njeri Muthemba of Baltimore, MD. He also leaves behind brother-in-law John Waithaka and Dorothy Mugeshi of Baltimore, MD, as well as numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the family farm in Wangige Lower Kabete at 10AM. Further details, including Zoom information for the memorial service, will be shared separately.
