Why Ngong is the Hottest Selling Real Estate Location in Kenya

Ngong, a satellite town in Kenya, has emerged as the hottest selling real estate location in the country. Located approximately 30 kilometres from Nairobi's CBD, Ngong has experienced rapid growth in recent years, driven by its proximity to the city centre.

According to various sources, Ngong has been fairly valued in terms of land prices, with plots available for as low as Ksh 500,000. This has made it an attractive option for low and middle-income earners looking to own prime properties at affordable prices.

Infrastructure development has also played a significant role in Ngong's growth. The recent tarmacking of the Ngong-Ewaso-Kedong-Suswa road, the construction of the Southern bypass, and the ongoing dualling of Ngong road have all contributed to the area's accessibility and economic growth.

Additionally, the area's continued residential development by Nairobians has driven up demand for land in Ngong, making it an ideal location for residential and commercial developments. The Ngong Hills, a popular holiday destination for city dwellers, has also contributed to the area's appeal, with many investors looking to construct holiday homes and facilities in the area.

With prices ranging from Ksh 650,000 to Ksh 1.5 million for an eighth-acre plot, Ngong is an attractive option for those looking for a prime property with a high appreciation rate and ready for immediate development.
