On June 30, 2020, Kamene Goro stood as the last man left standing among the radio personalities poached from NRG Radio by Kiss 100. The original cast included Xtian Dela and Andrew Kibe, but they are no longer with the Waiyaki Way-based radio station.
Andrew Kibe's Exit from Kiss FM ¶
Andrew Kibe was the latest to be shown the door during a retrenchment drive by Radio Africa Limited-owned Kiss FM earlier this year. This move left Kamene Goro alone, a situation that could dampen her spirits.
However, Kamene Goro has managed to keep her energy levels elevated in spite of the termination of her radio partner, which probably happened in a manner that blindsided her.
She has chosen to soldier on, knowing that the Kenyan populace would want to know how she felt. In a statement, she said, 'Si poa.'
It remains to be seen whether Kamene Goro will work with Andrew Kibe again, perhaps on a podcast or another level of production. She has assured her bosses that she can be relied upon to maintain her professionalism when needed.
