On June 30, 2020, Kenya's Ministry of Health announced 176 new Covid-19 cases, increasing the national tally to 6,366.
According to Dr. Rashid Aman, the Chief Administrative Secretary for Health, 100 of the new cases were male and 76 female.
During his daily update in Nairobi, Dr. Aman also reported that four people had died overnight, bringing the total fatalities to 148.
As of the update, 2,039 people had recovered from the virus, with 26 more patients being discharged from hospitals.
