On June 23, 2020, the who's who of Kenyan society gathered at a private family ranch in Gatanga for a birthday party like no other. The occasion was the birthday of Davidson Gatuhi, the son of Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe.
The party, which was themed around cowboys, was a glamorous affair that saw guests posting videos and photos on social media using the hashtag #.
Among the high-profile guests who attended the party were Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Saboti MP Caleb Amisi. The party was a lavish affair, with champagne, whiskey, wine, and food flowing freely. Customized water bottles with the initials DWG were also on hand.
As the party reached its climax, the birthday boy popped champagne before cutting his cowboy-themed cake. Later in the evening, guests were treated to a spectacular display of fireworks.
