On June 30, 2020, renowned musician Prezzo made a bold move by announcing his entry into the world of politics, with a possible run for the Kibra parliamentary seat in the 2022 general elections.
While he did not specify which position he would be vying for, reports suggest that he is eyeing the Kibra constituency.
"I will definitely be a debater in 2022 for the sake of the Lord, as I am not one to shy away from trying my luck in politics," Prezzo said.
Prezzo has promised to bring about the change that many politicians have promised but failed to deliver.
"My main goal in venturing into politics is to bring about the change that our politicians have been promising but failing to implement. I have already started working with my friend Steve to improve some of the slums in Kibra," Prezzo stated.
With over 16 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Prezzo believes that he has what it takes to be a leader for the people.
During the 2019 Kibra by-election, there were rumors that Prezzo would be running for the seat on the Wiper Party ticket.
