Published on June 30, 2020, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has made a remarkable recovery from COVID-19 after being treated at Aga Khan Hospital.

According to reports, the Bishop was initially admitted to the hospital for a different ailment but was advised to test for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure.

She was subsequently tested and put on a ventilator, crediting the quick response of the medical team for saving her life.

After undergoing treatment and testing twice, Bishop Wanjiru was declared coronavirus-free and has since been going about her life.

She has been sharing photos and videos of her daily activities, including preaching sessions for her congregants, to nourish their spiritual lives.
