On June 30, 2020, the music industry was left reeling with the news of Shammy Tale's untimely death. Her brother, Abdu Tale, has now revealed that she had been in ICU due to breathing difficulties.
According to Abdu, Shammy had first developed malaria before her condition worsened, leading to breathing troubles. She was also suffering from ulcers.
'She died between 12:00 and 12:30 am,' Abdu revealed. 'She was in ICU after throat constrictions, we got the news at 6:00 am on Sunday.'

Shammy was laid to rest according to Muslim customs, and her family and friends are still coming to terms with her tragic loss.
