Emotions Run High as DJ Evolve Shares Heartbreaking Story ¶
Kenyan DJ Felix Orinda, popularly known as DJ Evolve, has shared his harrowing experience of being shot six months ago by Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino, at a club in Nairobi.
According to a report by NTV on June 29, 2020, DJ Evolve, who has undergone multiple surgeries, has been unable to regain full use of his hands despite spending over KSh 17 million on medical bills.
MP Babu Owino was released on bail after being charged with attempted murder and has since been teaching online classes to students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many Kenyans have taken to social media to express their emotions and sympathy for DJ Evolve's family, with some calling for justice to be served.
