Former Harambee Stars captain Musa Otieno has contracted COVID-19, his family confirmed on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
According to his brother Barrack, Musa Otieno began showing symptoms of the virus on Friday and was taken to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for testing.
Samples taken from him returned positive for the virus, and he has since been transferred to the Mbagathi Hospital Unit for treatment.
Before contracting the virus, Musa Otieno was actively participating in distributing food to Kenyans in different slums as a sports advisor to the Nairobi County Government.
He is known to give back to the society, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed.
