June 30, 2020, marked a significant milestone for Joab Mwaura and Nancy Onyancha, a former K24 TV couple, as they revealed their own media company, Sauti Tajika, has been thriving for six years.

After being fired from their jobs, the couple saw an opportunity to grow their business and focus on their own media venture.

From K24 to Sauti Tajika

Joab Mwaura, an award-winning journalist, divulged to Kenyans.co.ke that Sauti Tajika covers TV and online commercials, documentaries, event coverage, and voice-overs.

With his experience as a reporter, assignment editor, and full editor at K24 TV, Mwaura is now using his skills to produce documentary features and voice-overs for Sauti Tajika.

Founded in 2014 as an extra source of income, Sauti Tajika has now become the couple's main focus.

Joab Mwaura is seeking to purchase more equipment and set up a voicing booth in his home, while his wife, Nancy, is already receiving offers from local stations.

The couple anticipates setting up an official office come August 2020.
