Manchester United's Angel Gomes, 19, is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford as his contract with the Red Devils is set to expire at the end of June.
According to reports, Chelsea are interested in signing the young midfielder, who has played only six games for Manchester United this term.
Angel Gomes' current deal with United is set to expire on June 30, 2020, and he has not found it easy to secure regular playing time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Chelsea's interest in Gomes comes after Manchester United's handler, Ole Solskjaer, confirmed that the young midfielder has not signed a new contract with the club.
Clubs in Spain, Germany, and Italy have also shown interest in signing Gomes this summer, with Paris-Saint-Germain reportedly leading the race.
However, Chelsea want to use the opportunity of Gomes' current contract situation to lure him to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the Independent.
It is claimed that Gomes has rejected an offer of £25,000 with bonuses to stay at Old Trafford, believing he can get better offers elsewhere.
