Published on June 29, 2020, a suspect identified as Fahmi Salim Said was arrested for allegedly conning several people out of a total of Ksh.11 million in cash and property.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had received numerous complaints about the 'notorious fraudster', prompting detectives to commence investigations.
According to the DCI, detectives based at Mombasa arrested Fahmi Salim Said at his hideout at Beach Rd apartments in Nyali.
The suspect is currently in custody awaiting arraignment.
