Kenya's coronavirus cases continue to rise, with two employees at Kabarak Guest House in Nakuru testing positive for the virus on June 25, 2020.
According to a statement, the two positive cases were isolated, and their contacts were quarantined after they were successfully traced.
Over 80 people had been quarantined at the facility in Nakuru, as reported by the Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
Magoha also announced that a meeting scheduled to take place at the institution had been postponed due to the incident.
Kenya's coronavirus cases currently stand at 6,070, with the global number of cases exceeding 10 million, and a death toll of 504,952.
Meanwhile, at least six members of parliament are currently admitted in various city hospitals with one being in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after they tested positive for the coronavirus.
