Four Suspects in Kilimani Robbery Busted

On June 25, 2020, a chilling CCTV footage emerged of two men robbing a pedestrian at gunpoint in Kilimani. The incident sparked widespread concern, and the authorities were quick to act.

Fast forward to Monday morning, when DCI detectives based in the Kilimani Police Division apprehended four suspects connected to the robbery. The suspects were tracked down to their hideouts in Kawangware, Gatina, and Pangani.

According to the DCI, the suspects were arrested after a thorough investigation. The authorities recovered several items, including a MacBook, a mobile phone, and other stolen goods.

The suspects were picked up from their hideouts, and a man who had provided one of them with refuge in Pangani was also arrested.

Such cases have been on the rise in the leafy suburbs of Kilimani, Kileleshwa, and Lavington, where robbers target people jogging in the morning or evening.
