Absa Bank Kenya PLC Partners with Tatu City for Home Financing

On June 29, 2020, Absa Bank Kenya PLC announced a partnership with Tatu City to provide mortgage finance options to home buyers at the 5,000-acre Special Economic Zone development in Kiambu County.

The bank will offer various home ownership facilities, including construction loans, equity releases, and LARIBA mortgages, as well as insurance products such as mortgage protection, fire insurance, and retrenchment cover.

According to George Laboso, Head of Mortgage at Absa Bank Kenya PLC, the partnership aims to help home buyers realize their dreams and unlock capital for construction and other home needs.

Beatrice Njeri, Head of Residential Sales at Tatu City, emphasized the company's commitment to offering homes and serviced plots accessible to all incomes, as underscored by the partnership with Absa Bank Kenya PLC.

Absa Bank Kenya PLC has a long history of offering mortgage products, including some of the longest-tenured mortgages of up to 25 years in the market.

The bank has assigned a dedicated Relationship Manager to clients who own homes or are purchasing properties in Kijani Ridge, where Tatu City sells fully serviced plots starting from KES 12.4 million.
