Comedian Joseph Musyoki Kivindu, popularly known as Kasee, has left the entertainment world in shock after his untimely death on Sunday.
According to reports, Kasee's body was found in Nginduri, Kinoo, on his way home, sparking a flurry of condolences from his fans and colleagues.
Chairman of Comedians in Kenya Society, Ken Waudo, announced the news in a press statement, saying,
“NEWS REACHING ME NOW IS THAT WE HAVE LOST JOSEPH MUSYOKI KIVINDU OTHERWISE KNOWN AS COMEDIAN KASEE THIS EVENING, HIS BODY IS STILL AT NGINDURI, KINOO AWAITING TRANSFER TO THE MORTUARY.”
Waudo further revealed that initial reports suggest Kasee may have consumed a poisoned drink, but the police are yet to release a comprehensive report on the matter.
Comedian Kasee is survived by a wife and two children, and his body will be transferred to Chiromo mortuary for further processing.
