Manchester United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho has taken a significant turn, with the Red Devils now eyeing a massive £110 million transfer fee for the winger.
According to reports, United are unwilling to meet this demand, citing the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the club.
As a result, the Manchester club is exploring options to offload several players to finance the transfer of Sancho and other summer targets.
Among those reportedly on the chopping block are Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira, Phil Jones, and Chris Smalling.
Sanchez, the highest earner at the club, could potentially be spared the purge if he accepts a pay cut, Metro UK reports.
However, the Chilean's future at the club remains uncertain, with the possibility of another loan spell looming large.
