Eleane Muwanga's life story is a testament to the power of faith and perseverance. The security officer at Citizen TV studios has been making waves in the gospel music industry, despite facing unimaginable struggles in the past.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Muwanga shared her musical journey, which began after the darkest period of her life. In 2016, she lost her father on August 23, and just a few days later, her husband left her for a younger woman.

With three young children to feed and no job, Muwanga was forced to beg for food and money from friends, family, and anyone who would lend a helping hand. She recalled being nicknamed 'omba omba' (borrower) during this time, but found solace in three key things: God, her children, and music.

Whenever the pain became too much to bear, Muwanga would belt out worship songs, which kept her sane. She even attempted to take her own life by mixing pills, but thankfully, she is alive today to attest to God's faithfulness.

In 2018, Muwanga saw a job posting for a security officer at Royal Media Services (RMS) and applied. She got the job, which led her to meet Victor Mbuvi, a Kenyan award-winning contemporary gospel singer, comedian, and TV presenter. Muwanga stopped Mbuvi and told him about her passion for music, and he eventually gave her his number.

She called Mbuvi relentlessly, and he finally gave her the direction she needed to record her first single, 'Wanaomwaminia Bwana' (those who trust in the Lord), at Maxton Studio. Since then, Muwanga has released four gospel tracks, including her latest song, 'Nimeamini,' which aired on Citizen TV's Laura Karwirwa's Bambika Gospel show.

Muwanga emphasized that her personal journey has taught her the value of perseverance through adversity. She encouraged women who feel like their world is at an end due to failed relationships or financial struggles to use her as a living testament of God's faithfulness.

The budding musician is currently working on her debut album, which will be a personalized message to the world on the beauty of faith and endurance.
