June 28, 2020, marks a somber day for Wasafi Family and Diamond Platnumz as they join the label's manager, Babu Tale, in mourning the sudden death of his wife, Shamsa Kombo, also known as Shammy.
According to a post by Diamond's mum, Sandra Sanura, also known as Mama Dangote, on her Instagram, Shammy passed away early this morning.
Mama Dangote wrote, 'Mke na Mama wa Watoto wa Meneja wa Lebo ya WCB, Hamis Taletale (babutale), SHAMMY amefariki dunia Mapema Alfajili ya Leo • #WasafiMedia Tunatoa pole kwa Familia ya Ndugu yetu Hamis Taletale katika Kipindi hiki kigumu, na kumuombea kwa Mungu ampe nguvu na ahueni • Innalilah wainailaihi Rajiuun 🙏 (The wife and mother to the kids of WCB manager Babu Tale, Shammy, has passed away early this morning. We send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Babu Tale during this trying times and we pray to God that He may give him strength)
As is customary for Islamic burials, Shammy will be laid to rest later today.
