On a fateful Saturday, June 27, 2020, police in Naivasha made a shocking arrest - a 42-year-old woman who had just confessed to murdering her four children.
According to reports, the woman first poisoned her children before strangling them to death in their sitting room.
Naivasha Sub-County Police Commander Samuel Waweru confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect is in lawful police custody.
"The accused first told her friend that her children were admitted to the Naivasha Sub-County hospital with chest pains before confessing a few hours later that she had strangled them," said Waweru.
The woman's motive for the heinous crime remains unclear, with investigations still in their initial stages.
