On Saturday, a devastating shooting occurred at a Walmart distribution center in Red Bluff, California, approximately 130 miles north of Sacramento.

According to Allison Hendrickson, a spokeswoman for St. Elizabeth Community Hospital, two people lost their lives in the incident, while four others were in fair condition.

Franklin Lister, a 51-year-old Walmart employee, was clocking in for his afternoon shift when an employee ran down the hallway shouting, 'Active gunfire! Active shooter!'

Mr. Lister witnessed his colleague's arm bleeding and realized it was not a drill.

He and his team quickly exited the building through the nearest fire exit, hearing approximately 50 to 60 gunshots as they fled.

As they ran, they helped each other over a barbed-wire fence and saw a white vehicle crash into the entrance, causing a fire at the distribution center.
