On June 28, 2020, Villa Rosa Kempinski marked a significant milestone in the hospitality industry's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic by reopening its Lucca Italian restaurant.
The restaurant, which had been closed for 100 days, has resumed normal operations after receiving the green light from the Ministry of Health. To adhere to government guidelines, the eatery will close by 7:30 pm, but customers can still enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner while maintaining a safe distance of 1.5 meters apart.
According to a statement from the hotel, the restaurant's reopening was made possible after it satisfied the Ministry of Health's auditors with its observation of best practices in hygiene, health, and safety.
As the country's hospitality industry continues to navigate the challenges posed by the pandemic, Villa Rosa Kempinski's decision to reopen its restaurant is a positive step towards recovery.
