June 27, 2020, marked a day of intense scrutiny for Senior Council Ahmed Nassir, as Dr. Miguna Miguna linked him to the gruesome murder of Kenyan businesswoman Jacob Juma.
According to Miguna, Nassir had been in contact with Juma before his untimely death on May 6, 2016. This revelation has sparked a mixed reaction, with many questioning Nassir's involvement in the high-profile case.
Dr. Miguna Miguna, a Canadian-based lawyer, has long referred to Ahmed Nassir as a major cartel. In a tweet, Miguna exposed Nassir's alleged connection to Juma, stating that instead of pursuing justice for the late businessman, Nassir was hired by one of the main suspects, Deputy President William Ruto.
“On May 6, 2016. Jacob Juma was gunned down and murdered in cold blood only hours after he had met with Senior Cartel @ahmednasirlaw. Instead of going to court to seek justice for Jacob Juma, @ahmednasirlaw was hired by one of the main suspects, @WilliamsRuto,” read Miguna’s tweet.
As the National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna has been vocal about his concerns regarding Nassir's involvement in the case. He has called for justice for the victims of the police station murders, including Lawyer Willie Kimani, his client Josephat Mwendwa, and their driver Joseph Muiruri.
