On June 27, 2020, Adema Sangale, the managing partner of C.Suite Africa, wrote an article titled 'How Black Lives movement can create new order'. In it, she argued that the Black Lives Matter movement can create a new order by taking lessons from the #MeToo movement and finding villains that are alive and well, preferably famous.

According to Sangale, the #MeToo movement was successful in generating CNN-worthy breaking news by finding villains that were alive and well, preferably famous. She suggested that the Black Lives Matter movement can follow a similar approach by targeting individuals connected to the entertainment industry, who generate an instant global splash.

Sangale also emphasized the need to stop 'colourism' and unite as Africans. She noted that the phrase 'How are things in Africa?' is often posed to Africans by people from other parts of the world, implying that Africa is a single, monolithic entity. She argued that this perception is a result of centuries-old identities and biases that need to be challenged.

Finally, Sangale urged people to put their money where their mouth is by shunning common biases such as European equals superior. She cited the example of Unilever, which has announced that it will rename its 'Fair and Lovely' brand to just 'Lovely', in a nod to the Black Lives Matter movement.

As Sangale wrote, 'Let's stand in solidarity, systemic racism affects us all.' Her article sparked a conversation about how the Black Lives Matter movement can create a new order and challenge centuries-old identities and biases.
