On June 27, 2020, Kenya reported 278 new coronavirus cases from 4,074 samples in the last 24 hours, bringing the national Covid-19 tally to 5,811, according to Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi.
During a daily Covid-19 briefing at Afya House in Nairobi, Dr. Mwangangi revealed that 31 people were discharged from various hospitals after full recovery, increasing the number of recoveries to 1,936.
Unfortunately, four people succumbed to the virus, taking the national death toll from the virus to 141.
Of the new cases, 181 patients were male, while 97 were female, aged between one year old and 84.
