Kenyan singer Akothee has made a significant change in her management team, replacing her former manager Nelly Oaks with Nigerian Benjamin Omesiete. The news was announced on Akothee's Instagram page, where she introduced Omesiete as her new brand manager.
According to Akothee, Omesiete will be handling all corporate enquiries and bookings for the singer. Omesiete, who is the CEO of Askana Music and 2nite Entertainment, is a well-known figure in the Nigerian entertainment scene.
He has also been linked to Nigerian superstar Mr Flavour, with whom he appears to have a close friendship. Omesiete's appointment comes after Nelly Oaks, who was rumoured to be Akothee's romantic partner, disappeared from the public eye.
Akothee had initially stated that Oaks had gone back to school to pursue a Master's degree, but it seems that Oaks' absence has been permanent. Omesiete's appointment is seen as a significant move by Akothee to revamp her management team and take her career to the next level.
