On October 20, 2014, a devastating accident took the life of Dennis Karuri's mother, leaving him with a deep sense of loss and regret.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Karuri revealed how he had turned down his mother's request to visit her just days before her passing, a decision that would haunt him for years to come.
'My mother was my best friend,' Karuri said, 'and not being able to see her really ate me up.'
Just days after his mother's death, Karuri's girlfriend broke up with him, leaving him alone and heartbroken.
'Bae thought I was being distant,' Karuri explained, 'and when I went to school to do my exam, I found my house empty. Bae had left.'
The breakup was particularly painful for Karuri, as his girlfriend had also destroyed many of his belongings, including gifts from his mother.
This was not the first dramatic relationship Karuri had experienced. In his first year at JKUAT, he had gotten into a relationship that ended in a messy breakup, with his ex-girlfriend hacking into his Facebook account and posting 'crazy' messages.
Despite the challenges he has faced, Karuri remains open and honest about his experiences, using his platform to share his story and connect with others who may be going through similar struggles.
