Jalang'o Returns to Radio Africa After Milele FM Exit ¶
Comedian Felix Odiwuor, alias Jalang'o, has announced his return to Radio Africa Group after being let go from Milele FM. The news comes after Jalang'o revealed that he had a long discussion with his first boss, Patrick Wako, who gave him his first radio contract.
According to Jalang'o, he had received calls from eight radio stations, including KBC, but declined the offers. He also shared his co-host Alex Mwakideu's reaction when he revealed to him that he was not going to be working with him anymore.
Speaking through his YouTube channel Bonga Na Jalas, Jalang'o disclosed that he will be going back to Radio Africa Group. He also shared a quote from his conversation with Patrick Wako, saying, "I might end up on Waiyaki way. And there are so many radio stations there is NRG, Jambo, KISS, classic, will decide. But I had an amazing meeting with my friend and my boss, the first person who ever gave me the first ever radio contract. Patrick Wako. So take away NRG radio but I think I might end up where it all began, Radio Africa. Which radio? I still do not know," said Jalang'o.
It is worth noting that Jalang'o was among the 100 employees who were fired from Mediamax Limited on Monday, June 22 via an SMS.
