On June 26, 2020, Juventus secured a convincing 4-0 win over 10-man Lecce in Serie A, with Cristiano Ronaldo leading the charge. The match saw Lecce's Fabio Lucioni receive a straight red card in the 32nd minute for a clumsy challenge, leaving his team to face the rest of the game with a man down.

Ronaldo's impressive performance included scoring a thumping penalty in the 62nd minute after being fouled in the box. He also created goals for Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain, with Dybala clipping a superb shot into the top corner in the 53rd minute and Higuain scoring a clever backheel in the 83rd minute.

Matthijs de Ligt sealed the win with a close-range header from Douglas Costa's cross in the 90th minute. The victory moved Juventus to 69 points after 28 games, seven clear of Lazio who have a match in hand. Lecce, meanwhile, remained third bottom on 25 points, behind Genoa on goal difference and one point adrift of Sampdoria in 16th spot.
