Luqman Ali Mahmmoud, a man who sparked controversy after entering State House to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta on faith issues, has been freed by a Milimani court.

On June 26, 2020, Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Daniel Ndungi ordered Luqman to cooperate with his uncle, Saudi Abdallah, to seek medical treatment for his mental illness.

Luqman had been accused of entering State House without permission, a charge he had admitted to, but claimed he was there to discuss faith issues with the President.

Magistrate Ndungi warned Luqman that if he returned to State House again without permission, he would be arrested and charged.

Luqman had been arrested by three police officers, Konstebo Duncan Orero, Konstebo Winston Abwawo, and Koplo Alex Sirongo, who had stopped him at the entrance of State House.

Luqman had entered State House in a Volkswagen Polo car, registration number KCP 048Y, at around 10:30 am.

Magistrate Ndungi had ordered the police to fire warning shots at the car's tires to stop Luqman, but he had refused to stop.

Luqman had also been charged with entering a restricted area without permission.

On June 19, 2020, Luqman had been charged with entering State House without permission, a charge he had admitted to.
