Kenya Airways has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with CEO Allan Kilavuka revealing the airline has lost an estimated $100 million in revenue since January.

According to Kilavuka, the airline's losses are a direct result of the lockdowns and travel restrictions imposed in response to the pandemic.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Kilavuka stated, “We don’t have the full picture of how much we have lost but our estimate is since January to date we have probably lost in the region of $100 million.”
