On Thursday morning, a man was mugged under duress in Kilimani, Nairobi, by two armed robbers who had disguised themselves as joggers.
As seen in the viral CCTV footage, the two robbers snatched the man's rucksack, threatening to harm him if he objected.
One of the robbers was armed with a knife, while the other had a gun.
Following the clip's release, which sparked a lot of reactions online, Kilimani OCPD Lucas Ogara stated that investigations had been launched, but the victim had not recorded a statement.
However, a day after the clip was released, the two robbers were apprehended by the police and are currently being held.
Police were able to trace the motorbike the robbers had used to escape, and they also recovered the firearm in their possession.
