Coast-based musician Chikuzee has been left red-faced after Diamond Platnumz publicly mocked him for turning down a collabo opportunity.
According to sources, Diamond had offered Chikuzee a chance to collaborate on one of his songs, but the musician failed to capitalize on the opportunity.
Speaking to the press, Diamond revealed that he had met Chikuzee during one of his visits to Mombasa and was impressed by his music projects.
"I met Chikuzee in Mombasa and was impressed by his music projects. I offered to do a collabo with him on one of the songs, but he failed to deliver," Diamond explained.
Weeks later, Chikuzee released the very song that Diamond had offered to collaborate on, catching the musician by surprise.
"I was surprised when I saw the song being released. I had offered to do a collabo with him, but he failed to deliver," Diamond added.
Chikuzee has since defended himself, blaming his management at the time for wasting the opportunity.
"I blame my management at the time for wasting the opportunity. I regret not taking the chance to collaborate with Diamond," Chikuzee said.
After turning down Diamond's offer, the musician granted Akothee the chance to collaborate on her track Sweet Love, which garnered over seven million views.
