On June 25, 2020, Liverpool's Premier League title win marked a historic moment for the club, a testament to the vision and leadership of manager Jurgen Klopp.

When Klopp took charge in 2015, the Reds were in a transitional period, struggling to find their identity after a disappointing season under Brendan Rodgers.

However, Klopp's appointment proved to be a masterstroke, as he vowed to improve the team and possibly win a title within the next five years.

At his first press conference as Liverpool manager, Klopp gave a brutally honest assessment of the situation, acknowledging that the team was not a title contender at the time.

He said, 'At this moment all the LFC family is a little bit too nervous, a little bit too pessimistic, a little bit too much in doubt. They all celebrate the game and there is a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium, But they don’t believe at the moment. They only see five years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago.'

Klopp's vision for the team was clear: to improve and become a top contender. He said, 'I am not saying this year will be the most successful in the history of Liverpool FC. If it happens then we can celebrate it, but if not we have to work.'

Fast forward to the 2019-2020 season, and Liverpool's rise to the top was evident. The team's possession-based football, defensive solidity, and ability to develop their players had made them one of the most difficult teams to beat.

On the day of the title win, Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Manchester City sealed the deal, and Liverpool's Premier League title was confirmed.
