On June 26, 2020, Jacqueline Mengi, widow to the late Tanzanian billionaire Reginald Mengi, shared valuable advice on choosing a spouse.
According to Miss Mengi, it's not enough to just get a husband who looks like your kids; you should choose someone with a good heart, great character, and intelligence.
She penned her advice on her social media platform, saying:
'Dear young men and women, when choosing a potential husband or wife, you must pick someone who is the kind of husband or wife you'd want your son or daughter to look up to and not only look like! Choose well and remember while looks are important, they're not everything. A good heart, a great character, and intelligence go a long way.'
Reginald Mengi and Jacqueline met during a concert in the United Kingdom in 2010. He wooed her after she initially turned down his advances.
Before marrying Mengi, Jacqueline was known as K Lynn and had hits like 'Crazy Over You' and 'Nalia Kwa Furaha' back in the early 2000s. She was also a former Miss Tanzania.
