Comedian and radio presenter Jalang'o has made a bold move, announcing the launch of his own online television station, just days after losing his job at Milele FM.
According to Jalang'o, his inspiration for the new venture stems from the rapid growth of his YouTube channel, which boasts over 100,000 subscribers.
“With how the YouTube channel is growing so fast, we want to make it bigger. Bonga na Jalas interviews will continue but just as a segment on the channel,” he said.
His new television station will feature multiple channels, including news, sports, and comedy, providing opportunities for young talents to showcase their skills.
“If you think that you have talent to host, you can talk to me or send me a one-minute video clip. We will shortlist our hosts. We can have interviews, sports, music. We can have all these things going on just like TV,” he said.
Interestingly, Jalang'o had previously revealed that he had received over six job offers from different radio stations, but decided to take a step back to explore the possibilities of his new venture.
