On June 26, 2020, a 42-year-old married man's life came to a tragic end after he overdosed on Viagra at a Kakamega hotel, where he had booked a room with his mistress.

According to his wife, the couple had not had intercourse in the past year, leading many to wonder if the deceased's actions were a cry for help or a desperate attempt to regain intimacy.

As news of the incident spread, social media users took to Twitter to share their thoughts and reactions, with some calling out the dangers of relying on medication to satisfy one's partner.

'You owe nobody hours of sex,' tweeted @BravinYuri. 'It's not a surgery, my friend. Even a hen gets satisfied for seconds after several meters of a chase by a cock. Stop using Viagra to please the other gender.'

Others shared their own experiences working in clinics and pharmacies, highlighting the prevalence of young people using erectile dysfunction medication.

'Not a surprise to me,' wrote @wekesa23810453. 'I work in a certain clinic in Samburu, and even high school kids as young as 18 are using the blue pills.'

As the debate continues, one thing is clear: the tragic death of the 42-year-old man has sparked a much-needed conversation about the dangers of relying on medication to solve relationship problems.
