On June 26, 2020, a photo of Rihanna's bodyguard sent shockwaves on social media, with many Kenyans arguing that he bears a striking resemblance to Jowie Irungu, the ex-fiancé of Jacque Maribe.
The photo, which has been widely shared, shows the bodyguard holding an umbrella for Rihanna as she steps out looking stylish.
While some people were drawn to the photo due to the bodyguard's reaction to Rihanna's intimate gesture, many others were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance between the bodyguard and Jowie.
From the beard to the eyes and the stocky build, many Kenyans couldn't help but think of Jowie when they saw the photo.
