On May 2019, the world got a glimpse of Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu's lavish lifestyle when he was arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption detectives at his Runda residence in Nairobi.
The detectives were searching for vital documents to build a case against the governor, who is also known as Baba Yao.
During the raid, the public got a glimpse of his posh mansion, sparking curiosity about his wealth and lifestyle.
Waititu has another residence that was also raided by anti-corruption officials, but the focus was on his Runda residence during the 2019 arrest.
