On Wednesday, June 24, at around 3:30 pm, Wajir Senator Abdirahman Ali Hassan's driver allegedly stole Sh2.1 million from his car in Nairobi.

Hassan had left his car at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre with the driver, but when he returned from a meeting, the car was missing, along with the driver.

Police later found the car abandoned outside Nyayo House with the keys still in the ignition.

Central police boss Mark Wanjala stated that efforts to locate the driver were ongoing, and teams had been dispatched to look for him.

Meanwhile, police are also searching for two suspects who were caught on camera robbing a man along Kindaruma Road in Nairobi on Thursday morning.

The suspects, who were riding a motorbike, confronted the victim and took away his bag and other belongings at gunpoint.

Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti said teams were in the field looking for the gang to bring them to justice.
