On June 25, 2020, a gruesome murder shook Chirenge village in Kisii County, with the discovery of the body of Nelson Nyamao, a 42-year-old man.
According to James Nyamao, Nelson's brother, who spoke to Citizen Digital, the body had cuts on the neck and the head.
James revealed that he received a mysterious call informing him of Nelson's death and later confronted his deceased brother's wife, who confessed to having a hand in his murder.
The woman allegedly escorted James to where the weapons used in the murder were stored.
The body of the deceased was transferred to the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary, while the woman is being held at the Kiogoro Police Station.
Police officers are yet to establish her motive for committing the crime, as a search continues for the other suspects involved in the heinous crime.
