June 25, 2020 - Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM party, has been hospitalized in Dubai for a minor surgery on his neck.
According to his brother, Oburu Odinga, Raila traveled to Dubai for the surgery, which he described as having no major implications for his health.
Oburu Odinga stated, "Jakom (Raila) is out of the country undergoing a minor surgery on his neck. It's not a serious health issue. So, he's fine," in an interview with the Nation.
Raila Odinga's family confirmed the news after days of speculation on social media about his health.
